THERAPY IS AN INVESTMENT

To honor that investment, Verbena Counseling takes the time to talk with each client prior to setting up an

initial appointment to briefly discuss the reasons for seeking therapy, and determining goodness-of-fit.

Rates: 

Initial Assessment: $160

50 Minute Session: $135

Insurance: 

Verbena Counseling is in network with BCBS PPO and United Health Care plans. We can verify your individual coverage prior to beginning therapy. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance company. You may also check your coverage by asking the following questions:
 

• Are mental health services covered by my health insurance?

• Do I have a deductible or co-pay? If I have a deductible, has it been met? 

• How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

• Do I need a referral from my primary care doctor? 

 

**If you have a different insurance carrier that is out of network with Verbena, a superbill can be provided to you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement

Sliding Scale: 

Reduced fee sessions are available on a limited basis and are based on the client's financial and insurance constraints. Email to inquire about availability. 

 

Communication outside of session: 

Fees may apply if phone call check-ins exceed 15 minutes.
